Fundraising
As part of HyLife’s commitment to giving back to the communities where we do business, our employees are encouraged to give generously of their time and energy to better the communities where they live. This often includes fund-raising initiatives to support a wide variety of community projects and endeavours. We are proud of the personal financial contributions HyLife employees frequently make to such causes.
One of the best examples of HyLife’s commitment to being a community partner is the “HyLife Fun Days” Hockey Tournament. This annual 2-day event involves a significant partnership effort between HyLife employees, supplier sponsors, community members, media, and not-for-profit organizations. In 2011, 10 teams participated and $31,000 was presented to CancerCare Manitoba. For 2012 HyLife will be donating the funds raised to the Children’s Wish Foundation to make the dream come true for a child in our region.
Every year we publicly recognize the employee who has gone above and beyond the norm by handing out the HyLife Volunteer of the Year award. This award symbolizes HyLife’s corporate and individual commitment to making our world a better place.
