Training opportunities provided by HyLife™
HyLife™ offers a variety of developmental opportunities for our employees. The state-of-the-art training room at our La Broquerie office can seat up to 60 learners and has video-conferencing capabilities and a low-oxygen supplier.
Programs and seminars facilitated in-house include: a 12-month leadership training course, management training focused on 7 key skills, team building based on a recognized personality profiling instrument, and computer training courses. HyLife™ ensures that all staff meet our health and safety requirements with many requiring training in First Aid, WHMIS, and Hydrogen Sulfide. Another important internal program is HyLife’s™ on-going English as a Second Language school which is customized to include important language skills related to the swine industry.
Partnering with a local community college, HyLife™ also sponsors relevant correspondence courses that teach the technical skills required of swine technicians.
